Dharwanbass Charitable Trust (“Trust”) derives its name from Dharwanbass, a small village in Haryana. It is named so with the objective that one day it becomes a household name known for its contributions to the upliftment of Dharwanbass village and the society. The Trust was registered on 24th March 2017 with Joint Sub-Registrar, Tehsil HQ Tosham, Distt. Bhiwani, Haryana - 127040, Registration No. 3972. The Trust is exempted from tax u/s 12AA & 80G (5) (vi) of the Income Tax Act of 1961. The Trust is governed and managed by a Board of Trustees comprising of the Founder and Trustees.

The Trust has 4.1 acres of land, with a huge complex spread across 7000 sq.feet, and well equipped to organize activities pertaining to its objectives of providing Education, Health, Old Age Home, and other social facilities to the rural population.
A number of NGOs, public and private trusts, cooperative societies, and companies are operating in the urban areas, but very few have a presence in the countryside area or in the villages where at least 70% population of the country resides.
While living in a village, one faces difficulties in every walk of life, be it access to health facilities, good education, skilled programmes, social help, or any important community issue.
Keeping in mind the above issues, we, retired defence personnel and some other social workers from the rural society, decided to establish a trust which would provide the right platform to help the underprivileged rural population.

The main aim to establish this trust is to promote the life of impoverished rural populace through improving their access to education opportunities, health facilities, and community development; destitute care; the advancement of amateur sports, awareness of human rights, preserving the environment, women empowerment, the welfare of farmers, and the advancement of any other object of general public utility.
We strive to work towards relieving the rural area of poverty and eradicating the existing social evils such as the caste system, gender inequality, and blind faith in fictitious baba.

To promote the welfare of girls in villages, we will assist motherless girls, right from infancy to adulthood, and provide for them till their education is complete or they are married.
